UR-UK 2025 Conference
20th & 21st November | Watershed, Bristol
The inaugural meeting of the Uro-oncology Research UK was held in Bristol in November 2024.
The meeting aim was to foster discussion, rigorous debate, and new relationships. We sought to identify evidence gaps and target new and ongoing research to improve patient care.
Thank you to all the topic team leads for their work preparing the selected topics. We aimed to keep to a “50% rule”: in that at least 50% of the time is reserved for the topic to be discussed by all delegates present for the session.
We hoped that the high-level discussion at this meeting would improve plans for the research that will be required to further the management of patients with these conditions.
In this section, I’d love to get an overview of any key outcomes from the 2024 conference, from specific papers and achievements, through to general benefits like connections made, discussions had.
